Who We Are

Lizanne Wilkinson is the founder as well as the lead therapist and parent educator at Progress Through Play. She has a post-bacclaureate certificate in Developmental Modes of Autism Intervention (DMAI) from Montclair State University and is a certified DIR/Floortime® therapist.  

As a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania and certified school counselor in PA, NJ, and NY, Lizanne has worked as a high school guidance counselor and with toddlers as a pre-school readiness teacher.  In addition to her work with Progress Through Play, Lizanne is a Child Development Specialist for the State of New Jersey's Early Intervention System.  

Lizanne is a member of the Program Advisory Board for the New Jersey Coalition for Inclusive Education (NJCIE) and a Board member of her school district's Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC).
